Holy Quran is a religious book of Almighty Allah. The literal meaning of Quran is recitation. It contains the verbatim words of Almighty Allah. It is regarded as the finest piece of literature in the Arabic language. All Muslims believe that Quran was revealed through the angel Gabriel from Almighty Allah to Prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H) . In Surah-e-Baqara, it is said about Holy Quran:

“This is the book, in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.”(Al-Baqara 2:2).

As it is said in Surah Al-Baqara(2:78):

“And there are among them illiterates, who know not the book, but (see therein their own) desires, and they do nothing but conjecture.”

Believing in Holy Quran:

All Muslims are very well aware of the fact that Prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H) is not the author of Holy Quran, instead it is only Almighty Allah who has written this Holy Book. The revelations of Holy Quran came verse by verse. There are 6,666 verses altogether in Holy Quran. The Meccan revelation were mainly focused on faith in Almighty Allah, ethics and life in the hereafter while that of Mediniah were focused on translating the faith through the principles of Islam and faith.
