Muslim Belief On The Day OF Counting

There are several pillars of Islamic belief. Each pillar has its own importance and without any one of it the faith shall not be complete. One of the important pillars of faith is the faith on judgment day. Moreover, besides the Day of Judgment, a Muslim also needs to have faith in the activities that will take place on the judgment day.

One of the major activities that will take place on the judgment day is the Counting (Hisab), where Allah Almighty would show the deeds to the doers and reward them accordingly. It is mandatory for a Muslim to believe on counting and consequent treatment on the Day of Judgment. Studying from a Quran tutor online can also help increase the knowledge about day of Counting.

Allah Almighty says in Quran:

“Surely to Us is their return; and then it is for Us to call them to account.” (Al Ghasyiyah- 88 )

Moreover, on the day of Counting every person will be counted, regardless of whether he or she is a Muslim/believer or a non-believer. However, the treatment of both of them will be different. The believers would be given a record of all their deeds and in case of a sinful believer, Allah Almighty will be discreet and cover up all his bad deeds and forgive him for all the deeds and send him to Jannah.

On the other hand, the good deeds of a non-believer will not be counted as there is no concept of life hereafter with a non-believer, and all their good deeds are rewarded by Allah Almighty in this world only.

A Muslim needs to remember that on the day of Counting all the deeds would be counted no matter how small they are. Therefore a Muslim should pay attention to even the smallest of deeds, so that he or she won’t say as Allah mentions in Quran about what the people with bad deeds would say:

“Woe to us! What a Record this is! It leaves nothing big or small but encompasses it.” They will find their deeds confronting them. Your Lord wrongs no one.” (Al Kahf 18:49)

In short, every Muslim must believe on the Day of Judgment and must understand the importance of the Counting taking place on that day.
